For almost three years Josh and I have been living through extensive home renovations.  Trying to raise our boys in the midst of the chaos and change has been… trying.  I’d love to share a bit of our journey with you as I highlight some pictures and memories from Our Home Renovation Saga.

Our old dining room was part of the kitchen – the space was really small but our little family had some good times around the table! Here’s a couple of shots of the old space to give you an idea of what we had:

Josiah learning about the widow and the two coins.  That lesson really impacted him later on.

Elijah loved to help me bake muffins and cookies especially.

Here’s the future dining room area when it was gutted about two years ago.

And here’s the finished product!  We are very happy to be able to gather around the table again and enjoy whatever delicacies have been whipped up in the kitchen!

The dining room and living room are all one big open space now – the dining room used to be the boys’ room, but when they got a little too big to share we knew it was time to start the renovating!
